Courtney Karwal is a director, writer and producer located in Los Angeles. Her pilot Doug & Devi won the pitch competition at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. She was named a Comic to Watch at the Riot LA Comedy Fest and her short film, Lipstick City, won Best Comedy Short at the New York Shorts Film Fest and Best Director at the Portland Film Festival.
This past year her short film The Hole won Best Director & the Audience Award at LA Under the Stars Film Festival, screened at Aspen Shortfest, Sonoma, Lower Eastside and premiered online with Omeleto. Ranch, a micro short she produced and directed premiered as a Vimeo Staff Pick.
