Courtney Karwal is a director, writer and editor located in Los Angeles. Her pilot DOUG & DEVI won the pitch competition at the Just for Laughs Festival. She was named a Comic to Watch at the Riot LA Comedy Festival and her short film, LIPSTICK CITY, won Best Comedy Short at the New York Shorts Film Fest and Best Director at the Portland Comedy Film Festival. SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, a short she directed will debut this summer along with THE HOLE, a project fiscally sponsored by Film Independent. She loves finding the funny in the mundane.
